He started working for Abs-Cbn Channel 2 as part of the Creative Development Group where he brainstormed for existing and upcoming shows for the network. A few months after, he finally started working as a writer for reality shows like Little Big Star for three seasons. Then, he was hired to write for a comedy/variety show called Gudtaym. After more than three years working for Abs-Cbn, he was given the opportunity to write for afternoon drama series "soap operas" like "Fish Tub Princess" and "Wild Flower". He ended his writing stint for Abs-Cbn in 2008.
