Experienced in international media & sport development within APAC and EMEA regions, Ridhineka is one of the youngest to be a registered director. She has been involved in business development within Vaishnave Media Works, a legacy company. She has catered to programming and distribution deals within Africa, South East Asia, and India. Spearheading the in-film advertisement and marketing teams within the company, she has organized financing deals for TV shows and film projects. Given her series development and project financing experience, she collaborated with multiple partners to launch projects globally.
She has secured talent, broadcast deals, distribution deals and packaged projects for both sport and traditional media entertainment. She gathers her understanding of diverse content and sales, licensing and international acquisitions from having pursued her LL.B from University of Cape Town, (UCT) South Africa. She further pursued an advanced law degree, LL.M from University of Southern California, (USC) - where she focused on copyright, contracts, and entertainment law. Eligible to sit both the California and New York Bar, her focus is on business development within the entertainment sector.
The majority of her experience in the entertainment industry comes from her work within APAC and EMEA regions. She is the Director of Vaishnave Mediaa Works, which has produced over 23,000 hours of content. She has had the opportunity to spearhead their new OTT strategic content team. As the leader for the International Business Development team, she has successfully distributed and acquired new content and has developed a niche in entertainment financing and content distribution. She is also simultaneously working on scripts and production plans for OTT platforms in APAC and EMEA. Her passion lies in distributions and acquisition deals relating to Tv and Film projects.
