Conor Ryan was born in Ireland on February 7, 1972. He is best known as a Professor of Machine Learning at the University of Limerick in Ireland where he invented a Machine Learning system called Grammatical Evolution. He was a Fulbright Scholar in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2013.
