Mr. King is an expert in International Finance and Private and Public Equity / Corporate Finance consulting. Mr. King currently serves as Senior Managing Partner of EverCore Capital Advisors, LLC. a New York based Investment Banking / Corporate Advisory firm. Mr. King also currently serves as Managing Director of DK Venture Fund II, LLC. a US based venture capital firm with investments in the technology/IP field. Mr. King was formerly a principle of VEM Capital Partners, LLC. which owned and operated Alternative Investment Management Group Ltd., which owned and operated Sprydex Fund Limited, a Bahamian based Hedge Fund. Mr. King was a major shareholder in VEM Aktienbank AG, a leading investment bank for small to mid sized companies based in Munich Germany which was founded in 1998. VEM Aktienbank participated in over 300 capital market transactions with transaction value in excess of $3 billion euros in overall capital value. VEM Aktienbank AG is a publicly held bank in Germany, which has been acquired by Computershare AG. Mr. King is actively engaged in numerous entrepreneurial investment banking transactions and investments, in a variety of diverse industry's. Having been an entrepreneur for over 25 years, owning or investing, as a principle, in numerous businesses, which currently include significant investments in the entertainment industry, technology, aviation, consumer products and other fields.
Mr. King is an active Pilot with single engine land, multi engine land and Instrument ratings and type rated as a single pilot jet pilot for the Eclipse 500 jet, which he flies for business. He is a Member of the Airline Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) and Cirrus Owners Pilots Association (COPA) as well as a member of the Eclipse 500 Owners group. Mr. King is also a Mentor Pilot. Mr. King has served as a guest speaker and consultant to the Students in Free Enterprise program (SIFE) at Graceland University. The SIFE program at Graceland consistently ranks in the top 10 in achievement on a national level.
Mr. King has been active in charitable areas. Mr. King currently serves on the board of directors, as Treasurer and Board Member and serves as a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight SE and MercyFlight SE both 501(c)3 organizations which coordinates free air transportation for children and adults with medical or compelling humanitarian needs. Mr. King was formerly the Chairman of the Board of the Warren Foundation for at risk children, which operates after school and feeding programs nationally. Mr. King also has been involved with the SunCoast (make-a-wish) Children's Dream Fund, which grants wishes to terminally ill children. Mr. King previously led the Missions Team at his church for many years and coordinated numerous missions' trips, primarily to the Dominican Republic.
