Zachery Ty Bryan launched his entertainment career early as a series regular on the popular ABC sitcom "Home Improvement." As he evolved from a successful child actor into teenage and adult roles, his career expanded with appearances on notable TV shows like "Cold Case," "E.R.," "Smallville," and "Veronica Mars," as well as roles in films such as "Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "The Game of Their Lives," where he starred alongside Gerard Butler.
Following many successful years in front of the camera, Bryan shifted to television and film production by founding his production company, Lost Lane. He has produced three documentaries and four feature films, including the 2018 Sundance Film Festival standout, "The Kindergarten Teacher," featuring Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Currently, Zachery is in post-production on "Heavy," a drug-induced thriller starring Sophie Turner, and "Skin," starring Jamie Bell, which addresses the current racial climate in America; "Skin" was recently acquired by A24 at TIFF. He also secured the TV rights to "Freeway Ricky Ross Untold Autobiography," a book chronicling how Ross built a crack-cocaine empire in Los Angeles, generating millions daily in the mid-1980s.
Zachery resides in Newport Beach, California, with his wife of twelve years, Carly, their three daughters—Gemma, Taylor, and Jordana—and their son Pierce.
