Charles McClafferty got his start acting in middle school where he was the lead actor in not one, but two plays. His real rise to fame came by appearing on the hit reality television mini-series A Dog's Journey Home in 2019. He played himself as he worked tirelessly to help save the many dogs from shelters across south Texas. His work on the show showed of his acting ability and true depth of character. Despite many calls to star in other shows, he took a break from acting to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. When asked if he'll ever return to acting, he has said, "Maybe."
