Carina Lastimosa is a talented and versatile actress known for her dynamic range and captivating stage and onscreen presence. With a passion for storytelling and an innate ability to breathe life into every role, Carina has redefined what it means for Asian and Filipino representation in the industry.
Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, Carina began performing at a young age, showing early signs of her talent through singing and dancing at family gatherings. It wasn't until high school that she discovered she could use her talents in musical theatre. This quickly grew into a love for acting and after high school studied at various theatre and film institutions including New York Film Academy, Academy of Art, A.C.T., Berkeley Rep School of Theatre, and Indiana University.
As she branches out into more on-camera, her roots in theatre remain strong. She is passionate about fostering new work development, highlighting BIPOC/Asian-American stories. Notable theatrical credits include works from Magic Theatre, Center REPertory Company, Bindlestiff Studio, The Cutting Ball Theater, Definition Theatre, Babes With Blades Theatre Company, and The Plagiarists. Carina is a recipient of Theatre Bay Area's TITAN Award.
Today, Carina continues to light up stages and screens, branching into commercial and print work, as well.
