Tessa Auberjonois, born in Dublin, Ireland, was raised in Hollywood, where she often spent Friday nights watching the taping of "Benson," featuring her father René as Clayton. From an early age, she dedicated much of her time to ballet. A versatile and critically acclaimed stage actress, she won the 2020 Ovation Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play. Her career spans a broad spectrum, including developing new works with playwrights like Neil LaBute and Annie Weisman, performing classical roles such as Lady Macbeth and Lydia Languish, and portraying numerous comedic characters. Off-Broadway, she has appeared at venues including the Lucille Lortel Theatre, the Acorn Theatre, the Player's Theatre, and the Rattlestick Theatre. She has also contributed to premiere productions at many leading regional theaters nationwide, such as South Coast Repertory Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C., Yale Repertory Theatre, Westport Playhouse, and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Tessa trained in dance at the School of American Ballet and pursued formal theatre education at Yale Drama and London's LAMDA. As a voice-over artist, her work includes voices for FEMA, Glade scented oil products, The Crave for White Castle, Goodlife Recipes, numerous radio commercials, video games, animated series, audiobooks, and re-voicing several feature films. She is honored to have received the Sermoonjoy Fund's Fellowship for mid-career actors.
