Blaine Dunkley is a New York City and Montana based Cinematographer, Steadicam Operator, and Aerial DP. He served as Director of Photography on the Netflix documentary series Heart of Invictus with Prince Harry and the pop-surrealist noir thriller The Blue Rose. His work on the wildlife crime documentary Tigre Gente earned the Salem Film Festival 2022 American Cinematographer Award, and his collaboration on Wild Hogs & Saffron took home the Audience Award at the Academy Qualifying Riverrun Film Festival. Equally active as a Camera and Steadicam Operator, his credits span narrative features and shorts, the CNN/HBO broadcast of Good Night and Good Luck theatrical, a VEVO session with Billie Eilish, and artist engagements with Foreigner, Jon Batiste, Celine Dion, and Justin Timberlake. On the broadcast side, he has shot extensively for NBC and MSNBC through Versant/MSNow, with work spanning The Today Show, Morning Joe, Velshi, Primetime specials, and Election Night coverage.
