Karen Middleton is a highly experienced and respected Australian political journalist, known for her in-depth reporting and commentary on federal politics. She has over two decades of experience covering national and international affairs, primarily in the Canberra Press Gallery. She has covered every Australian government since Bob Hawke's in the late 1980s. Karen is a familiar voice and face on Australian media. She is a regular panellist on ABC TV's Insiders program, and has contributed to the Ten Network's The Project, the Nine Network's Weekend Today, and various radio programs including ABC Radio National, Perth radio 6PR, and Sydney radio 2GB.
