Sara Serraiocco is an Italian actress celebrated for her powerful performances in acclaimed films and TV series. She gained widespread recognition for her role in the American sci-fi thriller series Counterpart, directed by Morten Tyldum, and the film Vermiglio, directed by Maura Delpero, which received multiple nominations including the 2025 Golden Globes and the 2025 European Film Awards.
Born in Pescara, Italy, Serraiocco began her acting journey after studying at the Italian National Film School in Rome. She debuted in 2013 with Salvo, which won the Critics' Week Grand Prix at Cannes. Her portrayal of a blind teenager earned her awards such as the Globo d'Oro for Best Actress and the Nastro d'Argento for Best New Talent.

That year, she also joined the cast of the French TV series Becoming Karl Lagerfeld, directed by Jérôme Salle, which premiered globally at Canneseries 2024.
In 2024, Serraiocco starred in Maura Delpero's Vermiglio, which won the Silver Lion at the 81st Venice Film Festival. The film is nominated for Best International Film at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards and for Best Feature and Best Direction at the European Film Awards. She also leads in Giorgia Farina's Ho visto un re, selected for the 2025 Torino Film Festival.
In 2024, she starred in Sergio Castro San Martín's Il Cileno.
In 2025, Sara served as a jury member for the Pardi Di Domani section at the 78th Locarno Film Festival.
