Hieu Ho is a Co-Founder and Partner at Imminent Collision, the boundary-pushing television and film production company creating bold, character-driven stories for a global audience. As a producer and screenwriter, he oversees a dynamic slate of projects across Amazon, Disney+, FX, HBO Max, NBC, Sony TV, Universal, and more - championing work that lives at the intersection of entertainment and culture, always grounded in emotional truth.
Most recently, he produced the critically acclaimed feature Shortcomings, directed by Randall Park, which made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics.
Prior to founding Imminent Collision, he served as Vice President at BuzzFeed, where he led the company's global scripted film and television division. There, he developed innovative story systems that leveraged BuzzFeed's vast IP and data analytics to launch multiple projects across major studios and networks.
Previously, he was President of Chu Studios, the production company he co-founded with director Jon M. Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians), where he helped shepherd projects that blended spectacle with heart. Hieu began his career at Warner Bros. in the Global Management Program before honing his craft alongside industry heavyweights such as producer Gavin Polone (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Zombieland) and filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (The Whale, Black Swan).
