Daniel Renaud began his career in radio in 1988, spending five years as a reader and reporter at the now-defunct CJMS station. He also worked for a dozen years as a television reporter at TQS and TVA, where he was editor-in-chief of the "J.E." program for two years. In 2005, he moved to the print media, working on police news at 'Le Journal de Montréal' and 'ruefrontenac'. He joined the editorial staff of 'La Presse' in 2012.
