Kirk Martini grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended UC Berkeley. He sang with the San Francisco symphony chorus from 1984 to 1986, and performed in the San Francisco Opera's 1984 production of Aida. After moving to Charlottesville in the 1990s, he performed in the University of Virginia's 2002 production of Threshold. He has done improv for several years with Big Blue Door in Charlottesville, and has been cast in productions with Piedmont Virginia Community College and the Persimmon Tree Players.
