Biografia
Alicia LaDawn is an actress, writer, and lifelong student of storytelling who believes the most powerful stories help people feel seen. Born in Lynwood, California, and raised in Lancaster, she fell in love with storytelling as a child, captivated by performances that could make complete strangers laugh, cry, and see the world differently. That experience sparked a lifelong desire to create work that leaves audiences feeling seen long after the screen goes dark.
She made her principal film debut as Crystal in Back to the Goode Life (BET Her) before continuing to refine her craft through training at BGB Studio and The Second City. Alicia has since led several independent short films, including Catching Fire, Waiting on Oz, and Reassurance. Drawn to emotionally honest dramas, action films, and character-driven stories, she is especially inspired by complex women whose strength lies as much in their vulnerability as in their resilience.
When she isn’t acting, Alicia works as a financial advisor, volunteers with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, and is almost always learning something new. A self-proclaimed closeted nerd, she collects Pokémon cards, rocks, and Funko Pops, enjoys indoor rock climbing and roller skating, and loves photographing the people in her life. Whether she’s writing, performing, or creating behind the camera, Alicia hopes every story she tells reminds someone they are not alone.
