Biografia
Skipper was born on Veterans Day at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, to Paul and Margarita Landry. Shortly after his father's enlistment ended, the family moved back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where they settled.
Medical issues kept him from attending most of elementary and middle school, but he eventually attended and graduated from Calvary Christian School. During high school, he landed his first job as a cashier at K-Mart at age 15, working there from his junior year through his first year of college.
Skipper then transitioned to electrical, security, and DJ work alongside friends like Jeff, Chris, Zeke, and Lyle at local nightclubs. He attended Louisiana State University for a time but failed out three times, spending more time at the student union than in classes.
He ultimately settled into a career as a security and fire alarm technician and currently holds an active NICET III Life Safety license.
Creativity has been a constant in his life. Early on, it showed through landscaping lawns in his neighborhood, then through building, modifying, restoring, and showcasing cars and motorcycles. At one point, he bought and restored a 1982 DeLorean DMC12. Later, his creativity evolved into acting, directing, and writing.
In 2011, through a chance connection with his brother-in-law, he was introduced to acting. He began taking acting classes in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and started landing bit parts in feature films, eventually appearing in major motion pictures, TV series, and made-for-TV movies.
Making acting his full-time career in 2012 marked a significant step toward personal fulfillment. Although he took 2014 off for personal reasons, 2015 is shaping up to be a strong year for him in film.
