Originally from Australia, Josh Adamson is now based in Los Angeles. He has worked in New York on various projects, including the Broadway workshop of "Taboo," playing Marilyn alongside Boy George and producer Rosie O'Donnell. Josh has held leading and supporting roles in feature films, recently starring as Job in the epic biblical story "The Book of Job," which is currently featured in international festivals. His film credits also include "Unidentified," "The Wedding Video," "Painting In The Rain," and "Desert of Blood." He has collaborated with director Tim Miller, known for "Deadpool," among others. On television, he starred in the TV movie "First Landing" as Captain John Smith and appeared in Amazon Prime's "Almost Paradise" Season Two, had a recurring role on "General Hospital," and guest roles on "Make It Or Break It" and "Big Time Rush." His American theatre credits include "The Prom," "Matilda," "The Producers," the original production of "Walter Paisley-Plastered" (currently in West End workshops, directed by Jerry Zaks), "Big Fish" (earning a Theatre Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor), "Catch Me If You Can," "Funny Girl" (Ovation Award-winning), "Aida," "The Producers," and "Lovelace" by the Go-Go's. He toured nationally in the US with 360 London's production of "Peter Pan," starring as Captain Hook. Josh has performed in multiple pantomimes in both Australia and the US, sharing the stage with Tony Award winner Ben Vereen in Los Angeles and Australia's renowned Magda Szubanski in Sydney, among others. Currently, Josh is developing a new show based on the true story of Albert DJ Cashier, set during the Civil War, with producers from Broadway's "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical." He is also working on the English adaptation of the award-winning Argentine show "Los Monstruos—The Monsters.
