Shane, płodny australijski artysta, ma prawie 20 lat kariery w filmie, teatrze i telewizji. Shane, absolwent Victorian College of the Arts, zdobył kilka nagród branżowych, w tym: nagrodę Penguin dla najlepszego aktora w 1984 r., nagrodę Green Room dla najlepszego aktora drugoplanowego w 1995 r. oraz nominację do nagrody AFI Showtime w 1998 r. dla najlepszego aktora pierwszoplanowego w dramacie telewizyjnym.
