Biografia
Troy and Trevor Parham, Philadelphia natives, are the driving creative forces behind Twiintone Publishing and Twiintone Entertainment, LLC. They are multi-talented songwriters, producers, screenwriters, and actors. Their controversial true-story novel, "MR. MALIK," has received national acclaim and inspired their debut short film, "MILLIONAIRE." Trained in drama at the Cobbs Creek Center for the Arts in Philadelphia, the brothers have appeared in numerous stage productions and have tried their hand at stand-up comedy in Atlanta, Georgia. They currently train with New York acting coach Anthony Abescon in Manhattan, aiming to establish themselves as versatile on-screen performers capable of portraying a wide range of roles and characters.
Before entering the film industry, Troy and Trevor were successful songwriters and producers, collaborating with prominent artists across Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. In 1988, they won first place in a hip-hop/rap contest at Philadelphia's Uptown Nu-Tech, competing against 30 emerging artists from the tri-state area. Their 1989 debut single, "Listen to the DJ," achieved remarkable sales despite lacking major distribution. In 2004, they founded Twiintone Entertainment, investing $20,000 to build a cutting-edge home studio, where they continued creating music for rising artists in Philadelphia and New York. Their work has reached audiences nationwide, and their passion for acting and filmmaking fuels their promising ventures into the big screen.
Currently, the brothers are developing a mini-series titled CAPITOL HILL, which picks up where their novel concludes. They are also working on a feature film called JENACIDE, based on the true story of The Jena Six—six Black teenagers from Jena, Louisiana, who faced injustice due to racial bias in the legal system. Additionally, both Troy and Trevor have over a decade of experience in law enforcement, having served in Philadelphia and Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
