Brandon Mitchell, originally from Kansas City, KS, now lives in Los Angeles as an actor, choreographer, dancer, and hip-hop artist. A versatile talent, Brandon has been passionate about performing arts for as long as he can recall. Beyond his entertainment career, he is deeply interested in basketball, spending his free time mentoring and training his younger brother, Mark Mitchell Jr., a highly ranked, five-star high school basketball prospect. As a devoted father and husband, Brandon pursues his dreams to support his family and inspire his daughter to persevere.
Influenced by Denzel Washington, Brandon is represented by Malibu Artist Agency and managed by Oliver Carnay. He starred in the lead role of "Like Blood," now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and recently guest-starred on FX’s "Dave." He is set to co-star in Netflix’s "The Upshaws," alongside Mike Epps and Wanda Sykes.
Brandon is signed to Bloc Talent Agency for choreography and draws inspiration from Aakomon Jones, Marty Kudelka, and Rich & Tone. He has choreographed several performances for Khalid, including the "Free Spirit" World Tour, 2019 Coachella, the Billboard Music Awards, and "The Voice" in 2019. His work extends to Nintendo Wii's "Just Dance For Kids," Airborne Toxic Event’s "Jimmy Kimmel Live" performance, and notably, the film "Step Up Revolution." He has also collaborated with Ciara and MTV’s "America’s Best Dance Crew."
As a dancer, Brandon’s skills go beyond choreography. He competed in Season Nine of Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance" and appeared in films such as "Valley Girl," "Step Up Revolution," and "Honey 2." He has toured with Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus and performed alongside Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Toni Braxton, Ciara, and Kelly Rowland. His dance performances have been featured on shows like "Ellen," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "The Late Late Show," "Good Morning America," "America’s Got Talent," as well as the American Music Awards and BET Awards.
As a hip-hop artist, Brandon released a seven-track EP titled Conditioning 3 in March 2020. Drawing influence from Lecrae, André 3000, and J. Cole, he focuses on storytelling through his music, creating vivid narratives for listeners. One track from the EP was featured on MTV’s "The Challenge," and he continues to seek sync opportunities for his songs.
