Biografia
Jodi graduated from NYU's film school, where she launched her career in theatre, film, television, and commercials. Shortly after, she directed the award-winning short film A LIMITED ENGAGEMENT. After relocating to Los Angeles, Jodi earned the prestigious Disney Directing Fellowship, gaining experience in both multi- and single-camera episodic television. She has directed episodes of ABC's BOY MEETS WORLD and YOU WISH.
Most recently, Jodi directed the biopic PRISONER OF LOVE (Tubi), which tells the story of a dedicated corrections officer who helped her convict boyfriend escape and fled with him for 11 days in spring 2022. The film stars Nicholle Tom and Adam Mayfield. In 2023, she directed the whodunnit BELOW DECK DECEIT, starring Shelley Sterling and Sarah Jane Morris, and is currently in post-production on FIT FOR MURDER, a true crime film about bodybuilders Craig Titus and Kelly Ryan, who became involved in the murder of their assistant.
Jodi also directed the thriller I'LL BE WATCHING, starring Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars), which aired on Lifetime Worldwide. She is preparing to bring her passion project, an original screenplay titled #Sibtrip!, into production in 2024.
As a Producing Director for the Syfy/Netflix hit Z NATION, Jodi worked on all five seasons, directing multiple episodes and writing several of them.
Proud to be among the 7% of female directors in Hollywood, Jodi excels in both comedy and drama. Her romantic Christmas comedy A SNOWGLOBE CHRISTMAS, starring Alicia Witt and Donald Faison, has become an annual favorite. Her heartfelt comedy CALL WAITING was an Official Selection at nine major film festivals, won BEST COMEDY at the Santa Barbara and Tiburon International Film Festivals, and was recently released worldwide on Amazon Prime. Jodi’s producing credits include Lisa Kudrow’s WEB THERAPY (Emmy-nominated) and the Netflix hit Black Summer.
Based in Los Angeles, Jodi takes immense pride in her work, but above all, she cherishes her daughter Logan, a graduate of Chapman University’s Creative Producing program at the Dodge School of Film and Television, who is the youngest agent ever promoted at the Creative Artists Agency in Beverly Hills.
