David W. King’s film and television career spans four decades, covering various aspects of live-action and animation production.
In animation, David produced and managed television and feature-length projects such as Walt Disney's Belle's Magical World, Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure, Donald Duck's Quack Pack series, and theatrical shorts including The Three Little Pigs, Jack & the Beanstalk, and Rumplestiltskin. At Universal Cartoon Studios, he was Associate Producer on Balto 2: Wolf Quest and Balto 3: Wings of Change. He also oversaw animation production for commercials for clients like Milton Bradley and Hasbro. For Focus on the Family Films, David served as Executive in Charge of Production and Associate Producer for the animated Adventures in Odyssey series (featuring Jonathan Taylor Thomas) and was Animation Production Manager for the live-action/animation series McGee and Me!, which aired on ABC.
In live-action, David was Vice President of Production at Parking Lot Productions and supervising producer on season 3 of The Incurables. He produced and directed 52 episodes of What a Relief! and five episodes of the international travel series Under the Sun. He produced a reality show pilot and the first three episodes of Chasing Fame, which follows actors striving for success in Hollywood. David was post-production supervisor for NatGeo TV’s Rock Stars and produced the interview series The Human Parade, hosted by The Weekly Standard’s Jay Nordlinger. He also contributed to armed forces public service announcements featuring celebrity talent. At 20th Century Fox, David was Post Production Supervisor on the ABC pilot Laws of Chance and Insert Supervisor on the pilot episode of Prison Break. He has written eight feature screenplays, most of which have been optioned.
In 2012, David relocated to Polson, Montana, where he founded his production company, David W. King Pictures, LLC. His wife, Jessica King, serves as his business and producing partner. David W.
