Sarah served as a Lance Corporal in the British Army Aviation Unit, the Army Air Corps (AAC), on the front lines in Iraq in 2003, acting as a Landing Point Commander (LPC). She played a vital role in supporting the war effort to liberate Iraq by refueling and re-arming attack helicopters, delivering aid, and providing casualty evacuation in the conflict zone. Sarah joined the regular Army in 1999 and was among the first female soldiers to undergo gender-neutral testing, becoming the first female in basic training to earn Best Shot (marksman) and Best Recruit in a mixed platoon.
Born in Hammersmith, London, to Chris Davis, a racing driver, and Sian, a nurse trained at the Royal Masonic, Sarah is a mother of two. She initially worked in theatre and then moved into modeling after being cast for her military skills in the film "How I Live Now." Since then, she has worked both behind and in front of the camera, including stunt driving for Sky Active channel and appearing in various commercials, such as the Daily Mail Christmas vouchers commercial in 2015.
As of 2022, Sarah has completed seven years of regular service and an additional seven years as a member of the Army Reserves (679 Squadron), maintaining her shooting, fitness, combat training, military tactics, first aid, and other transferable skills. She has also worked as a film armourer specializing in weapons safety and special effects, and served as a military adviser on several projects.
Sarah has taken acting classes and performed with the Soldiers Arts Academy (SAA). In 2018, she appeared in a full run of the West End theatre production "Soldier On" at The Other Palace Theatre, which aimed to raise awareness for veterans suffering from PTSD. Now represented by an agent on Spotlight, she has been cast in several upcoming projects. Besides her acting career, Sarah enjoys painting and drawing and is dedicated to supporting veteran charities and causes close to her heart.
