Michelle Fozounmayeh (also known as Michelle Jordan or Michelle Rene Jordan) is an American actor, producer, casting director, writer, director, and performance coach. She began her storytelling journey as an actress at a young age, earning awards and recognition for several roles. Michelle expanded into producing in 2014 and casting in 2016.
As a performer, her early accolades include first place at DTASC for her performance in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Best Supporting Actress at the Tambay Film Festival for PERIHELION. She starred as the female lead in the feature film HEAVEN (2020), portraying Elizabeth Stone’s battle with cancer and the hope for heaven, earning nominations for Best Female Lead at both the Content2020 Film Festival and the CIFF Film Festival. Michelle has co-starred with Dennis Hopper in CHOKE and held supporting roles in the feature films A CHAMPION HEART, MOTORVATION, and a featured part in SECRET AGENT DINGLEDORF AND HIS TRUSTY DOG SPLAT. On stage, she played lead roles such as Emily Webb in Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, Nora in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs, Louison in Imaginary Invalid, and Cathy in the film Chatty Cathy. Michelle earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a focus on acting from Pepperdine University and further honed her craft studying with prominent industry figures including the late Scott Arthur Allen, former president of the Manager’s Association, and renowned performance coach Eric Zivot. After performing and directing in South Africa in 2001, Michelle has continued her entertainment career in Los Angeles.
In her producing career, Michelle has credits including the TV pilot DAD DUDES (2015) starring Jerry Mathers and feature films A CHAMPION HEART (2018) with Devan Key, MOTORVATION (2020) with Judy Norton, and HEAVEN (2020) with Eric Roberts.
Michelle has produced and directed over seven short films such as ALEX IN MOVIELAND (2016) featuring Scott Baio, OPERATION TEACHER (2017), GAME CLUB WAR (2018), THE GREAT I AM (2015), CAMP NEVERLAND (2017), VIRAL IN 60 MINUTES (2018), and AMERICA LOVES IDOLS (2019). She has collaborated with companies like deVos Entertainment, Damascus Roads Productions, Bridge & Acorn Entertainment, Organic Actors, Spotlight Academy, Antonio Sabado Jr. Acting Studio, and myT Studios to create meaningful stories blending humor and drama. Her work as a performance coach and director includes more than twenty stage productions, encompassing classics such as Charlotte’s Web, Oliver Twist, Tom Sawyer, Seussical the Musical, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, and others.
