Biografia
Orson Chaplin, grandson of the iconic actor Charlie Chaplin and son of producer Ilya Salkind (Superman), was born in London, England, in 1986 to Jane Chaplin. Until age seven, Orson traveled internationally with his mother, frequently moving between Orlando, Florida, and Switzerland, where they spent six months with the extended Chaplin family, including his uncles, aunts, and cousins. He began acting in elementary school, debuting in his school's stage adaptation of Amistad. After his parents divorced when he was twelve, Orson relocated with his father to Los Angeles, continuing his theater work at Hollywood High. In 2009, under the producer name "Ozzy Beats," he wrote, composed, produced, and performed vocals on his debut rap album "Oz and Effect," which was released on all major music streaming platforms. Returning to acting in independent films in 2010, Orson partnered with underground rapper and close friend "Geek" to form the duo Radioactive, releasing their debut album "RadioActive First Edition" in 2011, available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other digital retailers. That same year, Orson committed fully to acting by enrolling at the Art of Acting Studio in Hollywood for a year of training. Since then, he has appeared in numerous television shows such as Ray Donovan, Lucifer, and American Horror Story, as well as independent films including Nightmare Cinema and Fifth Street. Orson continues to produce music as Ozzy Beats for artist Geek.
