Biografia
Milo Coello is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and film composer who has created music for over 40 films across more than 10 countries. His compositions have been featured in more than 150 TV shows on major networks such as Discovery Channel, BBC, NBC, Nat Geo, Animal Planet, ABC, History Channel, Bravo, CNN, Lifetime, A&E, Fox, and Netflix, among others.
Notably, Milo scored "Tod@s Caen," one of the top 20 highest-grossing films in Mexican cinema history, starring Martha Higareda and Omar Chaparro. His work also includes acclaimed films like the 2020 Ariel Award winner "We Vanish," as well as "Tengo Miedo," "Be Relentless," "Beyond the Blue," and "Al Otro Lado."
As a record producer, songwriter, and orchestral arranger, Milo has collaborated with major labels such as Universal, Sony, and Warner. He has worked with renowned artists including Mijares, Aleks Syntek, El Buki, Gloria Trevi, Natalia Oreiro, Armando Manzanero, Alex Ferreira, and Alfredo Olivas, in addition to numerous independent talents like Grammy nominee Blest, Rodrigo Marín, Tres 8 Uno, Josafat Espinosa, Melissa Dominique, Ben Cherem, Kozmik, Karina Gidi, and many more.
Milo has composed music for prominent national advertising campaigns for clients such as Sony, Dove, Bimbo, BBVA Bancomer, Telcel, Ricolino, Excélsior, Tropicana, Hotels.com, and Cinemex.
In 2017, he founded Strings México, an elite string orchestra composed of some of Mexico's finest string players, dedicated exclusively to recording music. In 2020, he established Gospel México, assembling a choir of over 30 exceptional singers and collaborating with top artists.
Milo is also a composer at Vanacore Music, one of the most successful TV music production and publishing companies in the United States.
He graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music in 2010, earning dual majors in Film Scoring and Performance.
After spending several years living and working in Los Angeles, Milo now resides in Mexico City with his two wonderful children.
