Deanne Salinger, known as Air Force Amy, is a highly decorated USAF veteran and the most prolific legal courtesan in history. She completed her military career at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas, Nevada, earning an Honorable Discharge in 1990. Immediately after, she began her career as a legal courtesan at the renowned Chicken Ranch Brothel in Pahrump, NV. Today, Air Force Amy is recognized as the most acclaimed and accomplished legal luxury courtesan ever.
Enlisted in the United States Air Force, Air Force Amy served a full term with an Honorable Discharge. She was an Air Base Ground Defense Instructor and Anti-Terrorism Specialist, also performing Law Enforcement and Security duties. Her work involved collaboration with the Diplomatic Security Service, Office of Special Investigations, Naval Intelligence, Army Special Forces, Navy Seals, and Military Working Dogs.
A highly decorated disabled veteran, her honors include the rare Meritorious Service Medal. She received numerous awards such as "Airman of the Year," "Woman of the Year," and "S.P. of the Year," and was promoted twice "Below the Zone." She earned the John Levitow Award, the highest academic honor attainable. Notably, she was part of the detail that escorted Marcos from the Philippines during his government's overthrow.
After excelling at major brothels for ten years, she partnered with Dennis Hof, late owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, where she became an 11-time "Bunny of the Year" and the top earner of all time. Air Force Amy is synonymous with the Bunny Ranch brand, having played a key role in building it alongside Hof and current owner Madam Suzette. With over 30 years of continuous experience, training, compassion, and customer care, Amy consistently raises the standard, innovating the legal brothel experience. She is known for her infectious smile, great humor, and genuine kindness and consideration.
Amy gained stardom through her appearances on Hof’s acclaimed HBO reality series, "Cathouse." Capitalizing on this fame, she has appeared in numerous mainstream radio, TV, magazine, and newspaper interviews, making "Air Force Amy" and the Bunny Ranch household names. She has been featured in over 30 mainstream and adult magazines, appeared on nearly 100 radio shows and podcasts, and has been spoofed and parodied extensively. Amy was a regular target on Talk Soup, making its Best of 2007, appeared on many cable TV talk shows, and frequently on Howard Stern during the early 2000s. She is also a regular on the Lex and Terry Radio Show, Sudden Death.
As the most publicized legal brothel worker in history, Air Force Amy remains one of the most popular legal courtesans today, primarily working as a liaison rather than as a courtesan. Her passion for her craft and decades of loyal clients keep her from fully retiring.
With the most experience as a legal courtesan in Nevada, Amy is regarded as a visionary and pioneer in her field. She is also sought for advice, training, public and community relations, and management.
Amy holds numerous certificates and college degrees, including associate’s degrees in Sex Education and Criminal Justice, a certificate in Clinical Sexology, and a doctorate in Education specializing in Human Sexuality. She is a former faculty member at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Human Sexuality in San Francisco and is the only certified Clinical Sexologist, Sex Educator, Loveologist, and/or Sex Therapist working at any legal brothel in Nevada.
A lifelong Nevada resident, Amy is a homeowner and local business owner. She actively participates in her community, donates generously to local and national causes, and hosts an annual charitable children’s Christmas party at her home at her own expense.
Air Force Amy is a survivor who advocates for abused women, missing and exploited children, U.S. military veterans, mental health, substance and alcohol abuse, the future of Nevada’s legal brothels, and sex workers’ rights and equity.
A single woman, Amy dedicates her time to her work, neighbors, clients, coworkers, education, and causes. She has traveled the world and enjoys Nevada’s local events, the bright lights and shows of casinos, as well as outdoor activities like four-wheeling, hiking, ATV riding, and horseback riding in the Nevada countryside.
