Biografia
Mark was born in New Milford, Connecticut, and raised in New City, New York. After earning a Theater degree from SUNY-Binghamton, he pursued graduate studies at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Following his time at ACT, Mark relocated to Los Angeles to start his professional film and television career.
At one time, Mark appeared on the big screen in the 1987 cult comedy "Terminal Exposure," and on television in commercials for Jordache Basics, where teens discussed sex—ads that were banned on some daytime slots and networks. He also starred in the children's series "Kideo TV" on Saturday mornings.
In the early 1990s, Mark unexpectedly took on a teaching role. He taught at New Directions in the San Fernando Valley, a high school for severely emotionally disturbed youth under California state care. After nearly five years, he moved to Colorado Springs in the mid-90s, where he taught at Community Prep School, a charter high school serving at-risk students.
While in Colorado, Mark returned to theater, working as an actor, director, producer, and Artistic Director on over 80 productions. He toured with Shakespeare plays, performed alongside Broadway veterans like Kelly Walters, Susan Dawn Carson, and Leah Chandler (Mills), directed the western premiere of "Doubt" for TheatreWorks, produced the western premiere of "Rabbit Hole," and was named Best Actor by the Colorado Springs Gazette.
In 2011, Mark moved back to New York to continue his professional career.
