Alin Halajian has been active in the Film and Entertainment industry since 2010, steadily building her presence.
She is a member of several community organizations, including Women and Film New England, The Massachusetts Production Coalition, SAG-AFTRA Union, Stage Source, SCATV, and New England Actor & Film. Alin is represented by Model Club Inc. Boston.
Alin’s acting training focuses on improvisation and method acting. She has participated in various acting classes and workshops and studied sociology, culture, psychology, intensive behavior, and critical writing at Northeastern University. She continues to expand her skills through advanced workshops, training sessions, and seminars relevant to her profession.
Professionally, Alin works as a Travel & Wedding Coordinator, specializing in wedding and honeymoon planning, creating custom wedding websites, and designing invitations and related products. She is a trusted expert for event coordination and planning.
In sales and promotion, Alin serves as a Brand Ambassador and Promotional Model, hosting events and trade shows to showcase products and services.
In modeling, she has walked the runway for the Next on Scene Bridal & Fashion Show and is signed with an agency for print modeling and acting assignments.
Within film, theatre, and television, Alin has contributed to two television pilots and two series, with featured scenes on Showtime’s SMILF.
Her commercial and industrial work includes projects for MLB Red Sox, Gatorade, and a national Dunkin’ Donuts commercial.
Alin is also trained in voice-over work, with a demo in Armenian. Being bilingual and ethnically versatile adds to her appeal in the entertainment industry.
She has appeared as an extra and background actor in over 20 Hollywood films, gaining experience on set and behind the scenes. Alin has leveraged these opportunities to develop her craft and advance her career.
Alin’s acting journey includes roles in student and short films, leading to significant parts in two independent films, "Sweeney Killing Sweeney" and "Exit Plan," both showcased in theaters and film festivals this year.
Beyond acting, she has experience in production and business roles such as Production Assistant, Stage Manager, Assistant Producer, and Set Designer for theater and film. She was Assistant Producer for the play "Butter," a comedy centered on food, and handled Wardrobe & Set Design for the short film "Late Fall."
In theater, Alin has performed with the Murder Mystery Company in dinner theater and comedic productions like Bar-Stool Stories.
Her work as a Wedding Planner and Assistant Producer involves acting as a liaison to ensure clear communication and coordination among all parties involved.
Both producing and wedding planning require research, contract preparation, meeting arrangements, vendor coordination (photographers, videographers, musicians, decor, etc.), collaboration with clients and teams, deadline management, budgeting, scheduling, marketing, and strong organizational skills.
Stage managing in theater and wedding event coordination share duties such as confirming details, managing communications, and overseeing the entire event or show process.
Alin possesses the drive, personality, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with artistic and technical professionals across the wedding and entertainment industries, transferring her expertise and passion between both fields.
When not acting or planning weddings, Alin enjoys traveling and sharing her adventures.
