Biografia
David was raised near Savannah, Georgia, and has spent most of his life in Atlanta, except for a three-year period in Los Angeles. From a young age, he had a passion for film, television, and theatre. He was heavily involved in theatre throughout high school and college, and continued performing in community theatre after graduating. For the past decade, David has dedicated his creative talents to television and film.
His television and film credits include numerous roles, such as appearances on House of Cards (Netflix), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), CSI: Cyber (CBS), Genius (BET), Black Lightning (The CW), and recurring roles on Kevin (Probably) Saves the World (ABC) and BET’s American Soul. He has acted in films including Killing Reagan, Hillbilly Elegy, and The Banker, and starred in the Lifetime film Lover in the Attic. David has also had the privilege of working alongside Academy Award winners Ron Howard, Kevin Spacey, Patricia Arquette, and William Hurt.
Beyond acting in film, television, commercials, and live theatre, David has extensive experience as a radio on-air talent, commercial voice-over artist, and has appeared live on television numerous times. He is also a Master Barber and recently set a Guinness World Record on NBC’s Today Show by shaving 73 heads in one hour, raising funds for The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research.
David is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
