Giorgio Pasotti is an Italian actor who made his theatrical debut as the lead alongside Stefania Rocca in Robert Lepage's play "Le Poligraphe." He then appeared in Daniele Luchetti's film "I Piccoli Maestri," based on Luigi Meneghello's novel, and in Gabriele Muccino's directorial debut "Ecco Fatto," starring Barbara Bobulova. Over the years, he has balanced roles in both television and cinema, gaining recognition for his portrayal of Inspector Paolo Libero in the TV series "Distretto di Polizia." During that period, he also starred in Neri Marcorè's miniseries "E Poi C'è Filippo," Antonello Grimaldi's "Due Mamme Di Troppo," Alessandro Piva's "La Scelta di Laura," and Ambrogio Lo Giudice's miniseries "David Copperfield."
In 2012, Pasotti took on the role of Giuseppe Garibaldi in Rai 1's miniseries "Anita Garibaldi." He portrayed Lino Zani, Pope John Paul II's ski instructor, in "Non avere paura - Un'amicizia con Papa Wojtyla," and played a police agent fighting against Germans during World War II in "A Testa Alta - I Martiri di Fiesole." Francesco Prisco cast him in his directorial debut "Nottetempo." Pasotti also starred in Giulio Base's "Mio Papà," a film exploring the dynamics of a large family, marking his debut as a writer and lead actor. In 2015, he co-directed and acted in "Io, Arlecchino" alongside Matteo Bini.
In 2020, Pasotti directed and starred in "Abbi Fede." Later that year, he was appointed as the new director of Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo. In 2022, he appeared in the TV series "Lea - Un nuovo Giorno.
