David Sparrow, a Canadian actor born in Solihull, Warwickshire, UK, on March 4, 1962, began his professional career in 1989 with Toronto's Second City National Touring Company. He later founded his own comedy troupe, The Random Few, which toured across Canada and featured on TV and radio. With over one hundred film, TV, and stage credits, David has worked throughout Canada and the US alongside talented actors, directors, and crews. In 2001, he wrote, performed in, and co-directed the sold-out comedy hit The Honey Murders at Los Angeles' Sacred Fools Theatre, with LA Weekly noting he brought a Ralph Kramden energy to the stage. As a writer, Sparrow has created short films, a feature, TV pilots, hours of sketch comedy, a children's book, a play, short stories, and numerous radio and TV commercials. His directing experience spans stage productions, voice-overs, and his own short films. He is a member of SAG/AFTRA, the Canadian Actors' Equity Association (CAEA), and the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), serving as Toronto and then National President from 2013 to 2021.
