Matthew Cook Liberto is a Canadian creator, producer, writer, and actor known for his work in documentary and unscripted television. He is the co-creator, co-executive producer, and co-writer of Travel by Dart, a 62-episode adventure series streaming on Amazon Prime. His producing credits also include the feature documentaries The Road to Pendembu and Enter India, and the one-season series Christian Beer Network, which he co-created and co-executive produced.
In addition to his media career, Liberto is a seasoned entrepreneur and global deal-maker. He is the CEO and co-founder of Napkin Inc., an international mergers and acquisitions company with a portfolio of over a dozen acquired businesses. Through Napkin Media and Napkin Advertising, he has expanded into the creative industries with the acquisition of Levector.com, a film and production studio serving clients in film, documentary, and television advertising.
Previously, he served as CEO and founder of Kingdom Venture Capital Fund in West Africa, among several other ventures launched throughout his entrepreneurial career.
Having lived, worked, and traveled in over 50 countries since the age of 17, Liberto now resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two children. He is passionate about adventure, travel, arts and culture, running, fitness, recreational basketball, yoga, and surfing.
