Alice McLaughlin, born in Caracas, Venezuela, grew up into Arts and cultured, surrounded by artists, poets, musicians, actors, and actresses. Deeply influenced by her maternal great grandmother, a published poet, Alice developed a love for the Arts from an early age. Coupling her artistic influences, her paternal side were all entrepreneurial in nature. Alice was predestined for a life in the business of Art.
Armed with two suitcases and drive to succeed, Alice took flight to America. She settled in Orlando, Florida and quickly became successful in her course of study, Journalism. Alice found this life fascinating. With the spirit of an entrepreneur, Alice dabbled in Real Estate, while continuing to forge relationships with her beloved Venezuelan artists, also looking to garner success in America. Art by Alice, Inc. was born from the rapid success of Alice's representation of these artists and their work in the United States and abroad. Since its birth, Alice expanded her business, with offices both in New York City and Florida.
With much success in her Art endeavors, Alice has represented close to 300 artists from over 30 countries, making her eventual transition into her current role, as the hostess of Frames and Fortune, seamless. Her drive to further the Arts has been fueled by her unwavering commitment to the dissemination of the Arts and culture, earning her great accolades from numerous entities and personalities.
Alice McLaughlin is the hostess of the television show, Frames and Fortune, joined by her fluffy white Maltese dog [and co-host], Motica. She travels the world in search of Art Masters and emerging stars in the Art world to fill empty frames through exposing them via her show. Alice combines her unique charisma and world experience into an amenable television segment where the focus is Art in all its facets, travel, and tourism.
