Married dance duo Tabitha and Napoleon, known as Nappytabs, are two-time Emmy winners (2011 and 2014) for Outstanding Choreography on So You Think You Can Dance. They have received four Emmy nominations in total, along with a World of Dance Award, a Dancer's Choice Award, and the 2014 Industry Innovator's Award.
Together, they founded and own Nappytabs, a well-known urban dancewear brand, and launched their North Hollywood store in 2010.
Tabitha and Napoleon, who grew up on opposite coasts, met while attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. They gained mainstream recognition in 2008 as judges and choreographers on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance, where they pioneered the dance style known as 'lyrical hip hop.' That same year, Nappytabs became the creative force behind MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. Since then, they have contributed to numerous popular shows, including ABC's Dancing With The Stars, Disney's Shake It Up, NBC's America's Got Talent, ABC's Suburgatory, and FOX's X Factor. They have also appeared as hosts and judges on FOX's Mobbed, TLC's Rock The Reception, Oxygen's Dance Your Ass Off, and MTV's Beyond Dance. Additional credits include executive producing FOX's Mobbed and creative producing FOX's American Idol and ABC's Sing Your Face Off.
The duo has provided choreography and creative direction for major awards shows such as the Grammys, Emmys, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and Kids Choice Awards.
Throughout their careers, they have collaborated with top music artists including Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Prince, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Sean Kingston, 50 Cent, Ricky Martin, and worked on Madonna's 2012 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Recently, they directed sold-out nationwide shows for Derek & Julianne Hough's MOVE Tour and have directed JabbaWockeez's MUS.I.C and PRISM stage productions worldwide. Nappytabs have also contributed to Cirque Du Soleil, working on several productions including The Beatles: Love, Mystère, KA, Iris, Viva Elvis, and Michael Jackson: The Immortal World.
Now parents, Nappytabs teach dance to children at conventions around the globe. They serve on the board of the Dizzy Feet Foundation and actively participate in various charitable organizations.
