Russell Cameron is a serial entrepreneur with expertise in business development, operations, investment banking, finance, television production and distribution, and social media marketing. His diverse career spans across managing media assets, producing award-winning broadcast television content, and leading successful business ventures.
Russ's journey in media management began with a $9 million acquisition of the local television broadcast signal for KWBP-TV in Portland, Oregon (now Portland's CW). Under his leadership, the station became one of the top performers in the early years of the WB Network, significantly improving ratings and revenue. This success caught the attention of WB Network Founder and CEO Jamie Kellner, who subsequently acquired the station for $27 million.
Driven by his passion for television production and the outdoors, Russ invested in media companies and founded his own production venture, OMG Multi-Media. OMG has produced and distributed acclaimed television programs such as Fishing the West, America's Outdoor Journal, Camp YMCA, Inside Passage, and Western Sport Fishing with Lee Horsley. These programs have aired on national cable networks including Versus, Outdoor Life Network, Fox Sports Network, Outdoor Channel, and Comcast Sports Net. Russ has earned multiple Telly® Awards for his work, including Best Cable Outdoor Program in 2001 and 2005.
As a pioneer in high-definition content, Russ traveled the world capturing stunning images of extreme athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and breathtaking landscapes.
In 2016, Russ returned to the investment banking industry by joining Whitestone Investment Network, where he achieved several significant successes. He co-founded the Health Professional Alliance Inc. and served as President of the Dental Group.
In 2024 and onward, Russ is focused on two major projects. He founded Allore Healthcare Inc. which, through its subsidiary NexusDSO, is a dental practice acquisition company integrating financing and technology to enhance the quality of life for its members and their patients. Russ is launching Harvest Moons, a venture dedicated to creating unique economic development opportunities within Indian Country. Harvest Moons aims to introduce cutting-edge indoor grow operations to select Tribal partners in addition to other urban and rural areas.
