Prinya "Way" Intachai, a first-generation American-Thai, was born in Paterson, NJ. As the second son of Thai immigrant parents, he grew up in Brooklyn, NY, where he excelled in baseball and track. Beyond sports, Way spent much of his free time watching movies and imagining himself as various characters, sparking a strong interest in the performing arts.
After high school, what was meant to be a two-month visit to family in Bangkok, Thailand, turned into much more. Upon arrival, Way forged friendships, began writing music, and quickly became a prominent figure in Bangkok's music scene, discovering his passion for performing. Within two years, he released a successful pop album and gained significant recognition.
As his fame increased, Way expanded into film, choosing to focus on acting. He left his music career behind and returned to NYC at age 20 to study acting, securing several roles in independent films. Frustrated with the slow progress in acting, he returned to Bangkok, hoping to find opportunities in Hollywood productions filmed in Thailand.
Back in Thailand, Way reengaged with music and became a key member of the award-winning group Thaitanium, recognized as pioneers of Asian urban music and hip hop. Despite the group's regional success, Way continued to pursue acting, landing various roles in both Thai and US independent films. He has achieved notable success as an actor, musician, and model throughout the region.
