Biografia
Originally from Argentina, Daniela advanced from a personal assistant to a writer, director, and producer, collaborating with industry legends such as Alexander Payne, Martin Scorsese, Peter Bogdanovich, David E. Kelley, and Tony Scott.
In 2010, she directed the romantic comedy "Qualquer Gato Vira-Lata" for Buena Vista International, which achieved unprecedented box office success in Brazil. Daniela was one of six Hispanic directors on the feature drama "Blue Lips," recognized by Cannes' Cinefondation head Georges Goldenstern at Ventana Sur, Latin America's largest film market, in 2012. The following year, she received the NBC/Universal Directing Fellowship and was appointed to direct episodes of the USA Network series "Royal Pains."
As a participant in the inaugural NBC Female Forward program, Daniela directed an episode of the primetime series "Chicago Med." Her most recent feature, "The Blackout," was released by Gravitas Ventures and is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime and other platforms.
A proud member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Daniela co-chairs the first official Women's Steering Committee mentorship program for mid-career women directors, which she also helped create.
Through her company Moon Lodge Pictures, Daniela is producing an authorized biopic series about iconic Latine pop star Xuxa. She is executive producing, writing, and directing the series, with an estimated release in 2024 on Globoplay Brazil.
Daniela resides in Los Angeles, holds triple citizenship (Argentine, American, and Italian), and speaks five languages.
