Entertainment professional with extensive expertise in Network Television, Book Publishing, and Independent Film. Skilled in producing creative content from initial concept and story development through physical production, directing, logistics, and expertly managing post-production workflows, delivery, and sales.
Eric DelaBarre launched his career at Universal Studios working for Dick Wolf on NBC's Law & Order. During his time with Wolf Films, he quickly progressed from Production Assistant and on-set Line Producer Assistant to Script Coordinator, Development Department, and Executive Assistant. After six seasons on Law & Order and earning membership in the WGA, he transitioned to Executive Producing, Writing, and Directing a film that won at the Newport Beach Film Festival and was acquired by Lions Gate Films and Saban International.
He has received awards for directing commercials, feature films, and book publishing before becoming a best-selling ghostwriter for Penguin Random House. His bestselling children’s adventure novel, Saltwater Taffy, earned endorsements from 12 Teachers of the Year and won two Children’s Book Gold Medals. Eric is a former president of the Boys & Girls Club Council of Santa Monica, a motivational speaker for elementary schools, and resides in Santa Monica, California, with his wife, Julie DelaBarre, and their two children.
