Brent Popolizio is a versatile actor, host, and creative whose career has joyfully spanned TV, film, and theatre. He has appeared in shows such as Why Women Kill, Law & Order: SVU, Jane the Virgin, 9-1-1, and Lady Dynamite, showcasing his ability to deliver punchlines, monologues, or emotional scenes with equal skill.
In film, Brent has featured in a range of projects, from festive hits like Nashville Country Christmas to acclaimed shorts like Movie Theater Hero and Warriors. He’s worked under the direction of Gwyneth Paltrow (Dealbreakers) and appeared in The Naked Brothers Band Movie, always on the lookout for compelling stories (and great craft service).
As a host, Brent has infused over 300 episodes of Nickelodeon's U-Pick Live and Go Time, as well as TLC's Weddings with Chris and Brent, with his distinctive wit and energy. He’s also voiced characters in animated series like Clarence and Martin Started It on Disney, excelling at portraying angry teenagers. Brent holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Emerson College and trained at The Public Theatre’s Shakespeare Lab, studying under icons like Uta Hagen and David Mamet. He has performed extensively in New York and Los Angeles theatre, tackling works from Shakespeare to Sheila Callaghan (Shameless, Dying For Sex, Casual), honing his craft for more than ten years.
