Biografia
Silvio Guindane began his acting career at the age of 11, debuting in Como Nascem os Anjos (1996), a performance that earned him multiple awards, including the "Kikito" at the Gramado Festival and the "Candango" at the Brasília Festival.
He is one of the most prominent actors in Brazilian cinema, collaborating with directors such as Carlos Diegues (In Orfeu (1999), O Maior Amor do Mundo (2006), and 5x Favela: Agora por Nós Mesmos (2010)), Ricardo Elias (De Passagem (2003)), Sergio Bianchi (What Is It Worth? (2005) and Jogo das Decapitações (2013)), Sandra Werneck (Stolen Dreams (2009)), and Sergio Rezende (Em Nome da Lei (2016)), among others.
Silvio has appeared in numerous television programs on channels like Rede Globo, Record TV, Multishow, Fox Brasil, Fox Latin America, and TV Cultura. He has also contributed to various productions for the Futura Channel and the Roberto Marinho Foundation, including Escola Legal, Alô Vídeo Escola, Energia, and Globo Ciência.
Guindane has become a significant presence on cable TV. On Multishow Channel, he featured in popular projects such as Acerto de Contas (2014), Open Bar (2010), and Vai que Cola (2013). At FOX Channel, he took part in the series One Against All (2016), directed by Breno Silveira.
In addition to his work in film and television, Guindane is an active figure in Brazilian theater, participating as an actor, playwright, and director throughout his career.
His theatrical works include writing and directing his first play, Após a Chuva, in 2007; writing and directing Quanto Tempo da Vida Eu Levo para Ser Feliz in 2011; creating the Plínio Marcos Project - 80 Years at SESI/SP in 2015; and writing and directing the musical play Ceará Show in 2016.
