Biografia
Natalia Danilova was born on September 25, 1955, in Leningrad, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia). Between 1973 and 1977, she studied acting under Professor A. Katsman at the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music, and Cinematography, graduating as an actress in 1977.
From 1977 to 1991, Danilova was a member of the renowned Bolshoi Drama Theatre (BDT) troupe in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad), led by director Georgi Tovstonogov. She collaborated with Tovstonogov for 12 years, performing alongside an exceptional ensemble including Kirill Lavrov, Alisa Freyndlikh, Lyudmila Makarova, Zinaida Sharko, Oleg Basilashvili, Svetlana Kryuchkova, Tatyana Bedova, Valentina Kovel, Vladislav Strzhelchik, Yefim Kopelyan, Sergei Yurski, Vsevolod Kuznetsov, Nikolay Trofimov, Georgiy Shtil, Vadim Medvedev, Leonid Nevedomsky, Roman Gromadskiy, Andrey Tolubeev, Gennadiy Bogachyov, and many other distinguished Russian actors.
Since 1992, Danilova has been a permanent member of the Theatre of Komissarzhevskoi troupe in St. Petersburg, where she has performed leading and supporting roles in classic Russian plays. Notably, she portrayed Nastasia Filippovna in the stage adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s "The Idiot" and took on the leading role of Medea in a production at the Priyut Komedianta Theatre. Her stage and film collaborators include Galina Korotkevich, Tatyana Samarina, Elena Simonova, Yefim Kamenetsky, Stanislav Landgraf, Boris Sokolov, Peter Shelokhonov, and other prominent Russian actors.
Natalia Danilova is a celebrated Russian actress known for her classic elegance, beauty, intelligence, and effortless style. She holds the honorary title of Honored Artist of Russia and has appeared in numerous popular Russian film and television productions. She currently resides in St. Petersburg, Russia.
