Arthur Gorson remains active in feature film, television, and commercial production. His broad expertise across the entertainment industry equips him with valuable insight for his production work. He is well-known for his photography with artists like Bob Marley. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, he led production companies in New York, focusing on film production, soundtracks, and concert production.
After moving to Los Angeles, Gorson served as a feature producer for Dreamstreet, Inc., operating out of Universal and Paramount Studios. He has collaborated on projects with directors including Tony Scott, Monte Hellman, and Taylor Hackford.
His feature film producing credits include "Cronos," directed by Academy Award winner Guillermo Del Toro; "No Place Like Home" by Perry Henzell (2019 release); "Better Watch Out," and "Road to Nowhere," directed by Monte Hellman; Consulting Producer for the historical epic "Cabeza De Vaca," directed by Nicolas Echevarria; and Executive Producer on Timur Bekmambetov's record-breaking Russian box office hit "Night Watch." Short film credits feature "Roots Of Reggae," produced with Wayne Jobson, and "A Filmmaker's Odyssey," produced and directed by Gorson and David Garonzik. He also created over five hours of original content for "The Harder They Come: Collector's Edition," a three-disc set released by Shout!Factory in 2020.
Gorson currently has several episodic television projects in development, including "Seek to Know No More," to be directed by Alejandro Toledo and written by Michael Thomas ("The 33," "Devil's Double," "The Hunger," "Ladyhawke," "Scandal," etc.); "High & Outside," based on stories by former Dodgers GM and sports figure Ned Colletti; and "High Hope: The Series," developed with Jefferson Miller and writer Chris Salewicz.
In production for 2026 is the feature documentary "The Monty Alexander Movie," directed by Gorson and Academy Award winner Jefferson Miller for Obelisk Media, along with the TV series "Chasing Time," produced with Bernard L. Nussbaumer.
In short-form production, he has worked with directors such as Zack Snyder, Dean Karr, Patricia Riggen, Timur Bekmambetov, and Alejandro Toledo. His extensive commercial production portfolio includes campaigns for Century 21, Busch Gardens HOS, AARP, Turtle Beach Gaming, Starbucks, California Lottery, LG Phones, Mazda Automobiles, Frito/Lay, Gillette, Bank Imperial, SeaWorld, Cutty Sark, Gatorade, Woolrich, Super Bock Beer, The Palms Hotel, Coke Zero, Universal Hollywood, Universal Orlando, Mortal Kombat, and Tommy Hilfiger.
As of 2026, videos produced by Arthur Gorson and directed by Dean Karr have amassed over 700 million combined views on YouTube. Together with Karr and other directors, he has produced music videos and concert films for artists such as Damian Marley, Lisa Marie Presley, Evanescence, The Dave Matthews Band, Wu-Tang Clan, Willie Nelson, Marilyn Manson, Stevie Nicks, Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Lee, Dr. Dre, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Steve Aoki, Duran Duran, Everlast, Shooter Jennings, X Japan, Velvet Revolver, and Cypress Hill.
His work has earned recognition both domestically and internationally, including awards such as the Cannes Film Festival Grand Prix - Semaine de la Critique, Silver Telly Award, Ariel del Oro (Mexican Academy Award), MTV Awards, Much Music (Canada) Award, British Video Association Award, and multiple RIAA Gold and Platinum Awards. A collection of his exclusive Bob Marley photographs is featured in Universal Records’ 50th Anniversary box set of "Catch A Fire," released in Fall 2023.
Gorson currently serves as President and Producer at Wild Indigo, LLC, and is co-founder of Obelisk Media, LLC.
