Biografia
Ray Panthaki is a British actor, writer, director, and producer. Recognized as a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit and a BIFA nominee, he has developed a varied career across film, television, and theatre, often focusing on grounded, director-driven, character-centric narratives. He has collaborated with acclaimed contemporary filmmakers such as Danny Boyle, Bong Joon Ho, Wash Westmoreland, and Edward Zwick. His screen credits include Marcella, Away, Boiling Point, and Colette. Behind the camera, Panthaki has written, directed, and produced through his company Urban Way, with works like Life Sentence, Ernie, Convenience, and the BAFTA and BIFA-nominated Boiling Point. In 2025, he commenced production on his directorial debut, In Starland, featuring Oscar nominee Clarence Maclin. He was elected to the BAFTA Film Committee in 2024.
