Christi Given is an American singer-songwriter, composer, TV and radio host. Her ancestry is German, Danish, Scotch-Irish. She was raised in Southern California during her childhood. Given loved performing since she was a little girl and started writing songs since the age of 12. Given co-wrote her original song "The Other Side (Amazing Grace)" with Capitol CMG's Joshua Silverberg and Grammy winning engineer, Nathan Dantzler. Given's original song "The Other Side" debuted on KKLA Radio on 99.5 FM KKLA in Los Angeles, California shortly after in 2016. She has also been heard on San Diego's radio station K-PRAISE (Aka: KPRZ on 1210am and 106.1 FM North County) in California. Given performed her song, "The Other Side" on TBN and her music video aired on the music network, JUCE TV.
Given has had years of television experience as a stand in for the likes of Kristen Bell (movie double) and as a featured extra in the movie Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts), Disney's "Even Stevens" and has been seen on "The O.C" TV show. She finally found her place in television, primarily while working with the Trinity Broadcasting Network starting as an intern. (2009) She hosted at TBN and the JCTV Network as a TV personality for over 9 years while obtaining her communications and journalism degree.
Given co-hosted a talk show called, "Top 3," appeared on "Praise the Lord," and hosted regularly for Xtreme Video Zone (XVZ, the top 10 music video countdown show). At TBN, she developed multiple programs for their youth channel which, eventually became known as the JUCE TV Network. She had her own online TV shows with JUCE TV, one called, "The Power Source," and another TV show that she hosted and directed that was entitled, "The JUCE Music Insider." Given had the honor of interviewing music legend Pat Boone, singer Lincoln Brewster and other influential people.
Between 2017-2020, Given penned and recorded over 350 TV tracks (short jingles) for networks such as A&E, Lifetime TV, the E! Entertainment Channel, and more. She placed over 650 songs on television with ASCAP. Her songs can be heard on shows like "Bling Empire," "Little Women of LA," "Little Women of Atlanta," "Dance Moms," and more. Given is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers and still to this day, has original songs being placed for television.
In 2022, Given distributed a country collection of original songs entitled, "La La Love." The EP was produced by country singer Roger Miller's son Dean Miller. (Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton) Her EP release is comprised of 4 songs, you can listen and purchase her music on Bandcamp. Her music video "Homeward Bound" is available on her Vimeo channel. The song was nominated by the Songwriters Guild of America as "Best Country Song" of the year and she placed as a semi-finalist in 2024.
Given covered and distributed her version of "America the Beautiful," and in December 2024, her rendition of the Christmas classic,"O Come All Ye Faithful" was released. In February 2025, she released "Beauty For Ashes" in dedication to the Los Angeles, California fire victims. In May 2025, she released her most recent single, "Mama's Boy" dedicated to her son.
