Bio Angel Terron is a dynamic filmmaker, writer, and author whose voice echoes with authenticity and purpose. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Angel is the daughter of a pastor father and a model mother-roots that shaped her balance of faith, resilience, and creativity. Bi racial background Hispanic/Portuguese she is determined to turn dreams into action, Angel left New Jersey for Los Angeles, where she began carving her path in the entertainment industry. She later relocated to Georgia, where her career took flight. Angel's first major project was working on Diary of a Mad Black Woman with Tyler Perry, a transformative experience that set the stage for her future. She continued to make her mark with credits on Stomp the Yard alongside producer Will Packer, and appeared in films like Cigarette Moment, The Gospel with Idris Elba, and more. As an author, Angel is known for her raw and thought-provoking works. Her debut book Reply or Delete explored emotional vulnerability in the digital age, followed by her second book, Angry Insecure Men, a bold exploration of male emotional struggle and relationship dynamics. Beyond storytelling, Angel is an unwavering advocate for mental health and suicide prevention, using her platform to raise awareness and foster healing, particularly within underrepresented communities. She channels her advocacy into her creative work, crafting stories that are culturally rich, emotionally honest, and socially impactful. Angel is writing, producing, and directing her first feature film, Polar-a powerful story on mental illness inspired by her own journey and advocacy. With Polar, she steps fully into her purpose, telling stories that matter and paving the way for a new era of Black female storytellers.
