Harry Seddon often shares the story of his very first Kindergarten report card, which said, "Harry is a bright child, but is quickly becoming known as the class clown." Even at that young age, he enjoyed the attention he received while performing. From singing and harmonizing with his sister MaryLynn at home to impersonating teachers at school, he found refuge in his "other world" and has been a big kid ever since. While working various jobs, including driving a yellow taxi at night in New York City, he studied acting with William Esper, who gave him advice he still values today: "Don't take it so seriously." Esper’s message was to relax and not take himself too seriously, despite the seeming contradiction. Coming from a legend like William Esper, Seddon keeps this advice in mind whenever developing a character, though he approaches his roles with serious dedication. If a role requires it, he will gain or lose weight, sometimes up to 30 pounds, and works hard to do so healthily. Harry's first major TV role was on the show 'Kate And Allie,' where he was the only actor to deliver lines in the prologue. Soon after, he became friends with actor Norman Barbera (Goodfellas), who introduced him to Joe Cirillo ('Eischied' (TV), 'Ghostbusters'), owner of an Entertainment Security Company. Cirillo hired him, and Seddon worked personal security for Frank Sinatra for several years between acting jobs. After becoming a single father, Seddon paused his acting career until his son was older. Since 2007, he has worked steadily in TV, short films, independent features, and stage plays. One of his films, 'Nasophilia,' was screened at the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival to great acclaim. Another film he stars in, 'Delivery,' premiered in Philadelphia, PA, where it was filmed. Seddon also co-stars in Paul Mones’ Judd Hirsch series, 'Small Miracles,' which has won multiple awards and is now available on Amazon Prime. Additionally, Seddon has garnered interest in his short screenplay, 'The Preachers Stare In Time Square,' which he is expanding into a feature-length film. He is diligently finishing the script and hopes to begin production once financing is secured. The screenplay has received several awards and nominations, including "Best Screenplay" at The Brightside Tavern Film Festival, "Best Screenplay" at the Into The Wild Film Fest in Spain, "Best First Time Writer" at The London Film Awards, among others. Harry also won "Best Supporting Actor" at the Paisan Con Film Fest in New Jersey for the film "Favorite Shirt.
