Brian G. Brosnan is the Founder, President, and CEO of Hollywood Locations, as well as the Founder, Co-Owner, and Managing Partner of Los Angeles Center Studios. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Brosnan left his hometown at 19 with only $200 and relocated to Los Angeles. He began his career as a Location Manager on the Academy Award-winning film Terms of Endearment and TV shows such as Murder She Wrote. In 1989, he established Hollywood Locations following a deal with the Hearst Corporation to represent the historic Herald Examiner newspaper building as a prime filming location. He later co-founded Los Angeles Center Studios in 1998. Brosnan is also an investor and producer of award-winning documentaries and feature films.
Hollywood Locations has become the leading company in film location management and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015. Under the leadership of Brian G. Brosnan, Christopher M. Ursitti, Peter Brosnan, and Ken Johnson, the company represents 80% of the most prestigious and film-friendly buildings in Los Angeles. Its clients include major motion picture, television, and commercial companies such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, HBO, 20th Century Fox, Disney ABC Television Group, AMC, Showtime, NBC, and CBS.
Los Angeles Center Studios is a 20-acre facility located just west of downtown Los Angeles, featuring 450,000 square feet of Class-A turnkey office and production space, six sound stages each measuring 18,000 square feet, a backlot with numerous practical locations, and a full array of services and on-site amenities. The studio is on track to become one of the largest independent motion picture studios globally. Notable films and television series produced at Los Angeles Center Studios include Mad Men, The X-Files, Batman Forever, Miss Congeniality 2, Terminator, Collateral, Die Hard, Truth or Dare (Madonna), Rumor Has It, Legally Blonde 2, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Mission Impossible 2, Rush Hour 2, Collateral Damage, Fracture, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Marvel), and Charlie's Angels.
In recent years, Brian Brosnan has broadened his role in the film industry as a writer, director, investor, producer, and distributor of documentaries and feature films. One of his productions, Wampler's Ascent, won the Golden Palm Award at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in 2013. His next feature film as a producer, titled Synapse, is currently in post-production.
