He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, following studies in Art & Design at Guildhall University and an incomplete bachelor's degree in Architecture at London Metropolitan University. He enhanced his training with an internship at Richard Foreman's avant-garde Ontological Theater in New York City and worked closely with his acting coach and mentor, Elizabeth Kemp, artistic director of the Actors Studio.
He received a nomination for the Horn Award for Best Newcomer in theater for his stage debut as Carl in Sarah Kane's play Cleansed, directed by renowned Greek director Lefteris Voyatzis. His other stage roles include Trebliev in Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, Oswald in Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts, the lead in Janusz Glowacki's The Fourth Sister, Mira in Jens Diedrich's Des Tragischen Todes der Hexe Mira, Darren in Gary Owen's The Drowned World, Anton in Marius von Marienburg's Eldorado, and Emil in Handl Klaus' Wilde, among others.
A member of the Hellenic Film Academy, he has starred in numerous Greek feature films such as Tied Red Thread, Homeland (earning a Best Actor nomination at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards and screening at the 2010 Venice Film Festival's Settimana della Critica), Valse Sentimentale (Best Actor nomination at the Thessaloniki Film Festival), Delivery (in competition at the 2004 Venice Film Festival), Atlas, and Athens Blues, as well as short films like Pure Youth (in competition at the 2004 Venice Film Festival Corto Cortissimo), among others.
His directorial debut, Dimitris Dimitriadis' The Annunciation of Cassandra (2018), received critical acclaim, sold out performances, and was praised by the Greek press as one of the top 10 Greek theater productions of the decade. The following year, he directed Chrysippus by Dimitris Dimitriadis, which premiered at the 2019 Athens Epidaurus Festival—Greece's most prestigious cultural event—achieving sold-out shows and provoking mixed reviews.
In all his directing projects, he also designs the sets, costumes, lighting, and sound, and manages publicity campaigns. Additionally, he designed and photographed the “The Greeks” and “Post Inferno” campaigns for the Onassis Foundation.
He received a Best Actor nomination for his role as Stergios in Homeland (2010) at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards and another Best Actor nomination for his role as Stamatis in Valse Sentimentale (2007) at the Thessaloniki Film Festival.
