Since 1995, Joe Di Maio has worked in the entertainment and digital industries as an executive, producer, manager, director, 1st AD, and post supervisor across movies, commercials, music videos, episodic TV, documentaries, internet programming, and live events. His expertise spans formats from film (35mm/65mm) to cutting-edge Hi-Def, IMAX 3D technology, and even smartphones, with projects completed throughout South, Central, and North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
He served as producer/director at Digital Entertainment Network, delivering over 100 reality and narrative episodes; was Head of Production at HollywoodBroadcasting.com, producing 14 TV shows; and held the role of Head of Physical Production at RKO Pictures, collaborating with notable talents such as Sidney Lumet, Mark Rydell, Sylvester Stallone, Jamie Foxx, Gabriel Byrne, Thandie Newton, and others. Di Maio also produced and managed various independent films including Laura Smiles, The Box, Let The Game Begin, The Bleeding, Absolute Killers, and Kid Cannabis. Additionally, he has overseen TV and commercial campaigns for clients like NUVOtv, HBO, Amazon, Dish Network, Tecate, HomeGoods, and Denny's. In large format work, he line produced and post supervised the IMAX feature documentary Panama Canal 3D. More recently, he line produced the sci-fi film Cosmic Sin, starring Bruce Willis.
